  • How to make a reservation

    Reservation until the day before

    Reservations can be made via the reservation form starting one month in advance of the reservation month.
    - Example: February 28th can be reserved from January 1st.
    Please check the business calendar for seat availability.

    On the day

    If you visit our establishment without a reservation, we will inform you if there are available seats at that moment. However, please be aware that we may have to turn you away in case of full occupancy or other reasons, so please understand in advance.

  • The Sale of the Christmas Set on 12/24
    ＊The reservation limit has been reached, and bookings are now closed.

    On Tuesday, December 24th, we will be selling the "Solemare Christmas Set."
    *Please note that dinner service on the 24th will be closed.

About us

The name "SOLEMARE" means "sun and sea" in Italian.
Located in front of Ishigaki Port, our restaurant offers Southern Italian cuisine using unique ingredients from the nature of Ishigaki Island.

We are a Trattoria, which is an at-home and casual Italian restaurant.
Our wish is for our guests to enjoy delicious wine and have a relaxed and enjoyable time with their important friends and family, just like at an Italian Trattoria.
We would be delighted if you can share our passion for this vision of SOLEMARE.

Owner Chef
Born in Hyogo prefecture in 1976. After working at "Villa Unarizaki" in Iriomote Island, "Ristorante Le Due Palme" in Naples, "Ristorante Nno' Piscaturi" in Sicily, and ESSE DUE in Tokyo, He finally returned to my long-cherished Ishigaki Island. He opened Solemare in March 2010.

FAQ

Due to limited seating, we recommend making a reservation in advance through our reservation form.
Please check our business day calendar for seat availability. Depending on the number of people and time, it may not be possible to secure a reservation.
As we operate with limited staff, we kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping the reservation time punctual.

Our business hours are from 17:00 to 21:00 (last order at 20:00). *Closed on Sundays and Mondays

We can prepare a "Dolce Plate (¥2,200 tax included)" after the meal. *Reservation required by the day before.
We will draw a message saying "Happy Birthday" in Italian and the name of the birthday person on the plate. Please enter the "name (in roman letters)" of the person celebrating their birthday in the remarks section of the reservation form.
It is also possible to use this service for anniversaries or farewell parties.

We don't offer course meals, but our daily specials board features "appetizer, pasta, fish main course, meat main course, and dessert."
Each dish is portioned for 2 people, so please share them at your table.

We do not have private rooms in our restaurant.
There are sofa seats at the back, but we may guide other customers to the adjacent table. Also, these seats may be prioritized for families with children or groups.

We have 2 tables for terrace seats.
Please note that these seats may not be available in case of rain or strong winds.

We do not have a special menu for children, but we can adjust the seasoning and herbs or provide separate dishes upon request. Please ask our staff on the day.
Please note that we do not have a diaper changing area or children's toilet available.

We do not have our own parking lot.

All seats in our restaurant are non-smoking, including the terrace seats.

We can accommodate some allergies for certain menu items. Please inform us of the details of your allergies in advance by using the notes section of the reservation form.
However, as our kitchen equipment and facilities are shared, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of allergens. Please be aware that there may be a risk of cross-contamination.
Additionally, for customers with severe allergies, we may unfortunately have to decline your reservation for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding.

Personal photography is allowed, but please be considerate of other customers around you.
However, please refrain from taking videos or broadcasting.
